HyeFighters ROman Mitichyan and Artur Benretsyan make weight for their MMA and Boxing bouts on Saturday at eh Hollywood Palladium.
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship competitor Roman “The Emperor” Mitichyan and rookie boxer Artur “The Punisher” Bernetsyan are set for action in respective bouts tonight at MEZ Sports’ “Pandemonium at the Palladium” at the Hollywood Palladium.
The card is set to feature five boxing matches and four mixed martial arts fights.
Mitichyan (10-3) is scheduled to face Preston Scharf (11-8) in the event’s MMA main event, a 170-pound welterweight fight.
Bernetsyan (3-0, 2 KOs), who made his pro debut in January in Glendale, will fight for the fourth time this year.
He’ll take on Ramon Flores (3-6-1, 3 KOs) in a 135-pound bout. Flores was originally slated to fight Bernetsyan on May 6 at a King of the West card, but the former pulled out to due the death of his father.
Mitichyan, who also trains at the Main Event Gym and with Team Hayastan in North Hollywood, is a teacher at Glendale Fighting Club, where Bernetsyan trains under Edmond Tarverdyan.
Also scheduled to compete on the card is Burbank welterweight boxer Johnny Suarez (5-3-2) and, in the main event, heavyweights Andrey Fedosov (21-1, 17 KOs) and Lance Whitaker (34-6-1, 28 KOs) are set to face off in a 12-round boxing match.
