In an upset, former world title challenger HyeFighter Khoren Gevor lost a really lackluster twelve round unanimous decision against unbeaten Nikola Sjekloca from Montenegro. The taller Sjekloca controlled the action from the outside, while Gevor had his moments when both combatants stood toe-to-toe. However, his attacks were mostly wild and he lacked accuracy and steam with his punches. In the later rounds, Sjekloca faded a bit and gave Gevor room to connect more often. Still, after twelve, the judges were in agreement and scored the bout 116:112, 115:113 and 115:114 for Sjekloca, who kept his WBC International title at super middleweight and moves to 21-0. Gevor has now lost four out of his last five and falls to 31-7.
