HyeFighter Tolmajyan WINS

Some are calling this an upset win, however we at HyeFighters NEVER had a doubt!!!

HyeFighter featherweight Gabriel Tolmajyan won an eight round split-decision over previously-unbeaten Daulis Prescott. The Armenian-born Tolmajyan, (12-1-1, 3 KO’s) from Glendale, CA, built up an early lead in the first three rounds before Prescott aggressively came on in the fourth round, landing right hands to the head. Tolmajyan dropped Prescott (23-1, 17 KO’s) in the fifth round with a counter right hook to the head. The last three rounds were close as Prescott, from Barranquilla, Colombia, pressed the fight while the southpaw Tolmajyan countered on the inside. One judge scored the fight 76-75 in favor of Prescott, while the other two judges scored the bout 76-75 for Tolmajyan. HyeFighters.com scored the bout 77-74 in favor of Tolmajyan. Prescott is the younger brother of former contender Breidis Prescott.
